Big cardboard box Duct tape Box cutter Tarp (optional) Scissors Large cardboard pieces Marker pens (optional)

Suggest Edits

1 Pick out the box size with your shanty. Furniture stores have great boxes that is are appropriate.

2 Turn the box upside down to duct tape any one holes and seams, which will support keep you away from the elements.

3 Cut air holes or make-shift windows in the parts about your box. You will be able to see your environment. This also will permit air to circulate.

4 Lower a piece of tarp to secure to the top about the box through channel tape. This is your roof.

5 Attach the cardboard pieces to each and every other with the channel tape. This is your floor.

6 Write the name of your group on the shanty, if desired.

This project should be done with adult supervision. Make use of the box cutter with caution. Allow for right ventilation.
